KASZ+ 2023 – XX. Kecskemét Steel Sculpture and Fine Arts Symposium, international creative camp

June 5 – June 23, 2023 / Kecskemét, KÉSZ Industrial and Innovation Park

On June 5, the twentieth, jubilee KASZ, our international creative camp began at the KÉSZ Group's industrial site. The creative camp organized by the K-ARTS Art Foundation was celebrated alongside Hungarian artists with the participation of Finnish, Norwegian, Japanese and German artists. The challenge was great, in previous years 121 artists created more than 1,000 juried works of art during the symposia. Is it possible to surpass the predecessors, is it possible to present something new, to display new ideas? Based on the experience of the past few days, we can say that the various metallic materials and the industrial environment, as always, gave a lot of impulse to the dreamers of unique works. Figurative works, reliefs, scenery-like works, industrial landscapes, presentations of physical phenomena, canvas material experiments, and multisensory works made this year's symposium exciting.

We organized our twentieth, festive creative camp with the participation of the following artists:

Visual artist Anne-Karin Furunes (Norway) • Visual artist Kalle Eriksson (Norway) • Visual artist Hilda Kozári (Finland) • Sculptor Markus Kåhre (Finland) • Visual artist Gyula Majoros • Painter Lilla von Puttkamer (Germany) • Sculptor Ottó Robotto Szabó (Switzerland) • Painter Yusuke Fukui (Japan) • Visual artist Gábor Király
