The statue was installed in front of the entrance to the Danube Arena (Dagály Bath), the internal support structure of which was delivered to the statue foundry in December 2016. The huge aluminum-clad work, which has been awarded the title of The Champion, is more than 6 m high and is also special in its technical solutions. The creator is the sculptor László Taubert. Supporters and athletes who arrived at the World Swimming Championships were greeted by the glittering torso.
