THE MYSTERIOUS OBJECT OF DESIRE - THE EXHIBITION OF JUDIT RITA RABÓCZKY AND ÁGNES VEREBICS

2020.02.25.

The joint exhibition entitled Judit Rita Rabóczky and Ágnes Verebics opened on February 25 in the Herman Hall of the Fészek Artists' Club entitled "The Mysterious Object of Desire". The curator was Katalin Ladik.

Judit Rita Rabóczky dreamed a special sensual fantasy world with her works, made from recycled iron, steel and other metal materials or wires and cables, bringing to the surface the most secret desires of men. Her taboo-creating works are based on a paradox: the artist created hot sexuality and femininity from basically brittle, difficult-to-handle materials.

Ágnes Verebics presented graphic works at the exhibition, the central motif of which is also sexuality and related taboos, although her works can be often shocking, they elegantly show the main thoughts to the audience. We can see simple, personal and intimate moments and fantasies articulated through the nudity of the subject hanging on the walls.

The ladies were members of our KASZ + creative camp at last year and during that they enriched the symposium with extremely spectacular and not in the least unusual works, processing a sensual theme. We are very proud that we were able to contribute to the creation of their many works, that will also appear in the exhibition!
