In the summer of 2004, at the initiative of visual artist and musician Gyula Majoros, the story began in the KÉSZ Industrial Park at the KÉSZ Group's production base in Kecskemét, in the PIPE ROLLING hall, which has become legendary for us. We did not think then that KASZ would become an adult and that we could already celebrate the 20th anniversary event in 2023.
At the end of this year's KASZ creative camp, we opened our summary exhibition to visitors on June 23, 2023. The location was again the underground garage of the IQ Kecskemét office building and the sculpture park in front of it. Art historian Katalin T. Nagy introduced the artists and works. In the rest of the program, the band Zoord from Kecskemét played, while the audience could see the Japanese painter Yusuke Fukui at work. We celebrated with a cake decorated with 20 candles!
