We would like to inform you that a representative selection exhibition entitled "Steel Stories" will be open on July 10th, 2020 at the REÖK Palace in Szeged from the steel sculpture collection of the K-Arts Art Collection. The opening of the exhibition starts at 17:00, which will be performed by Róbert Nátyi art historian, decan of the Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts, University of Szeged, and István Árvai, the art director of the K-ARTS Art Foundation.
A significant part of the exhibited works were made within the framework of the Kecskemét Steel Sculpture and Fine Art Symposium (KASZ +) international creative camp organized by K-ARTS with a seventeen-year history. Year by year many hungarian and foreign artists coming to creat to Kecskemét for the KASZ+ creative camp which has a very special atmosphere in an industrial environment.The diverse works coming to the exhibition show how wide the boundaries of industrial art can be. The works of the exhibition are characterized by different metal raw materials, special machining techniques and thematic diversity.
The sculptures presented at the exhibition were selected by Róbert Nátyi curator of REÖK, from the works of the following artists: Márton Barabás, Imre Bukta, Szilárd Cseke, Dóra Vanda Demcsák, Bianka Dobó, István Drabik, Zsolt Ecsedi, Máté Fock, Réka Gergely, Pál Gerber, Collin Hope (New Zealand), Ferenc Hack, Roland Kazi, Tamás Kopompai, Péter Korompai , Zsolt Áron Majoros, Gyula Majoros, Attila Mata, Péter Mátyási, István Orosz, Antal Plank, Judit Rita Rabóczky, Meghan Salgaonkar (India), Ottó SZabó (Robotto), Nóra Szirmai, József Szurcsik, Béla Tettamanti, Péter Ujházi, Lata Upadhyaya (NBr), Ágnes Verebics.
